La sociedad est� controlada y vigilada por la polic�a, y no hay libertad de pensamiento ni de expresi�n. Adem�s se incita a denunciar. Esta situaci�n es comparable a un r�gimen con terror. Ning�n ser tiene importancia en esa sociedad 6) No, los habitantes son seres completamente dependientes de la autoridad y del modelo a seguir, nadie tiene unos ideales propios y nunca hacen algo sin que alg�n superior se lo haya dicho (sin capacidad de decisi�n) ni se atreven a responder y decir lo que �piensen� (sin capacidad de libertad). 7) Claris y Linda son dos mujeres con un f�sico muy parecido, pero, con un comportamiento muy distinto. Linda, la esposa de Montag, quiere ser como la sociedad, ya que teme ser diferente (denuncia a su marido cuando lo ve leyendo, quiere hacer y tener las mismas cosas que los dem�s). No muestra afecto a su marido y es adicta a la televisi�n, fuma y sus amistades son muy superficiales. No tiene ilusi�n, ni emociones, ni ideales. Claris, en cambio, es una joven soltera que ejerce de maestra. Es distinta a Linda ya que lee, piensa, se ilusi�n, tiene sentimientos y tiene ganas de conocer y hablar con los dem�s. El televisor toma un papel muy importante en esta pel�cula ya que este controla a la sociedad. Tiene unos programas y un contenido muy simple e irrelevante y que no aportan casi nada, por no decir nada. A parte este transite informaciones falsas (supuesta muerte de Montag) y manipula al espectador (delatan al sospechoso).
